An everyday girl deals with depression

When I was 28 I found myself feeling a bit fed up one day. And then the next day. It was two weeks later that I realised the feeling wasn't going to stop. My friends said to me "Sarah, you have everything going for you - why do you feel like this?" and of course they were right. I have a close family who love me, a job that I don't hate, enough money in the bank to keep me in shoes and a great bunch of friends.

It's difficult to explain to anyone that hasn't felt this way - so this is why I'm trying. I hope that by keeping these diaries, I might understand.

Depression isn't something you can just "snap out of" - I wish it was! But it can be treated. I'm just hoping that my treatment works - so if you click on the Diaries link, you can take this journey with me.
